Curule chair (not a term with which I was familiar, I'm afraid)

David made this chair a few years ago using green oak. It was cut laboriously with pullsaws and then shaped, carved and the discs were turned.

David claims it was his first attempt at carving details, but I have to say it looks pretty good to me.
