Orphaned oak

Ron Hawkins takes old unwanted pieces of furniture and converts them into practical, beautiful and useful items. There are a few pictures below of his projects and processes but you can see many more on his website at orphanedoak.co.uk.

Ron should be commended for saving these old pieces of furniture from going to landfill, and indeed for his woodworking skills which are much better than mine.
I have to say I would probably include this page on my website even if Ron didn't use Z-Saws in his work.
